Grandpa Shoes!

So Nick bought these shoes a while back really cheap at Walmart and I hate them. They remind me of the shoes I'd put on the old folks at the resthome when I worked as a CNA. He says that I am just jealous of them and that I wished I had a pair like them. Lucky he really only wears them around the house and yard when he is working. I think that sometimes he wears them to bug me!!! I have been tempted to haul them off to the D.I, but figured it is not worth him being mad at me; plus it gives me a chance to laugh at him! *LOL* I so wish that I had a picture of him in them.

Oh Christmas Tree!!!

The last few weeks Dax has been determined to decorate for Christmas. A week or so ago I went into his room and he was putting blocks and wrapping paper all over his dresser, when I asked him what he was doing he said, "I am decorating my room for Christmas!" It was so fun to see the excitment in his face. So anyways, ever since lights have been going up on houses he has been bugging me to put a tree up in his room, so the other day Nicks mom went and got him and Karley a tree and decoration to put on them. They both had so much fun decorating them. Oh and how can I forget the train. I got rid of our old train last year, and he was so determined to get another one. After lots of persistent nagging grandma Karen caved and we found one online for him.

Bun In The Oven!!

I thought I'd let all of you know that Nick and I are expecting are 3rd baby. I went to the doctor November 19th and everything looks great!!! It was so good to hear the heart beating and to see the baby moving. I am almost 11 weeks along and the baby is due June 21, 2009; which is exciting because it is my older brothers birthday!! I have a feeling that it is a boy and can't wait to find out in four weeks!

1. I have a fear of getting lost. If I have never been someplace then I want someone who has to come with me or someone else to drive.

2. I refuse to honk my car at anybody. In fact the other day I was driving out of my neighborhood and an old blue hair ran a stop sign and cut me off. I had to slam on my brake to miss her, but I never did honk at her. On the other hand my husband loves to use the horn and it embrasses me, I hide my face when he does.

3. If I see a person I use to date I will try everything I can to avoid running into them.

4. No clothes can hang out of my dresser. My husband is really bad at this and it drives be bonkers!!! I am constantly fixing his clothes so drawers will close.

5. When I eat a meal I always save the main item for last. For instance if I am eating steak, potatoes, and vegtables, I will eat the veggies then the potatoes then the steak. I don't know why I do this I guess I am saving the best for last.

6. When I put my kids in bed I always close their closet door if it is open.

Trick or Treat Street

This is some of the candy, we ended up giving some of it out for Halloween.

The Saturday before Halloween, we took the kids to the south towne expo center for Trick or Treat Streat. It was cute, it was decorated like an older city and the kids would go door to door trick or treating. I still can't believe how much candy we got from it. Some of the doors we went to dump I like a pound of candy in our bags, it was insane!!!
